Niacinamide (vitamin B3)
One of the most extensively studied cosmetic ingredients. Research links it to a more even-looking tone, fewer visible dark spots and a stronger barrier.

Retinol
The benchmark ingredient for visible ageing. Retinol supports skin renewal, helping to soften the look of fine lines and refine texture over time.

Vitamin C
An antioxidant that helps neutralise free radicals from sun and pollution, and plays a role in the skin's natural collagen production.

Use as directed on the pack, ideally in the evening because it contains retinol. Start two or three evenings a week and build up. Always wear sunscreen during the day. Don't combine with another retinoid, and speak to your doctor first if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or using prescribed skin treatment.
