Your photo
During the skin analysis, the camera checks light and position on your device. When you take the scan, one still image is sent over an encrypted connection to our AI analysis provider, Anthropic (Claude), solely to rate visible skin features such as shine, visible spots and dryness. SWSkinn does not store your photo. Anthropic does not use it to train its models; under its commercial terms it may retain request data for a limited period for safety and abuse monitoring before deletion. We never use your photo to identify you or to infer personal characteristics such as age, gender or ethnicity. If you prefer not to share a photo, you can complete the analysis with questions only.
Your results and answers
Your scores, priorities, answers and recommended products are used to show your results. A copy of your latest scores is kept in your own browser so you can compare next time; you can clear it by clearing site data.
Only if you tick the consent box and choose to continue, we share your scores, priorities, answers, recommended products and the time of your analysis and consent with the SWSkinn Personal Skin Advisor on WhatsApp (an AI assistant), so you don't need to repeat anything. Your photo is never shared. Reply STOP at any time to opt out.
Shopping
Purchases are processed securely by our e-commerce platform, Shopify. See also our store privacy policy. Links from this site carry an anonymous session reference so we can understand which content helps people.
Analytics
We measure how the site is used (for example, how many people start and complete the analysis) to improve it. These measurements do not include your photo.
